ComplyZero has two products. Website Consent puts a consent banner on your website and keeps a record of every choice visitors make. The Governance Suite covers the rest of what the DPDP Act asks of you, from requests people send you to consent you collect in person.

## What the DPDP Act asks of you

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to any business in India that handles people's personal data in digital form, including paper records you later type in. In short, it asks you to:

- tell people what you collect and why, and get their consent before you use their data for anything that needs it;
- let them withdraw that consent as easily as they gave it;
- answer their requests to see, correct or erase their data, and their complaints;
- keep their data safe, and report a breach to the Data Protection Board and the people affected.

ComplyZero gives you the tools for each of these and keeps a record that you did them.

## Website Consent

## The Governance Suite

The Governance Suite brings together:

- Your **Trust Centre**, the public pages where people read your privacy information and send requests.
- **Consent Hub** for collecting consent in person, on paper and from your own app, and a **Preference Centre** where people change their choices.
- Your **Processing Register** and **Data Register**: what you use personal data for, and where it lives.
- **Breach Desk**: recording an incident and deciding who to tell.
- **Readiness Score**: how ready you are, and what to do next.

You only see the sections your plan includes. If a product isn't on your account yet, the sidebar offers **Add Website Consent** or **Add Governance Suite**.
