Check your banner
Open your website in a private window, the way a new visitor would, and make a choice. Then find that choice in your consent records, with its receipt.

To check your banner, open your website in a private window, the way a new visitor would. The banner shows straight away. Select Manage Preferences. Each purpose is described in your words, with the cookies behind it. Turn on Analytics and Functional, leave Marketing off, and save. This small button stays in the corner, so visitors can change their mind at any time. Now open Consent Records in ComplyZero. The choice is there, with the time and exactly what was allowed. Details shows the receipt: the button used, the versions of your notice and banner the visitor saw, and when the choice expires.
Visit your site as a new visitor

Make a choice
Select Manage Preferences. Each purpose is described in your words, with the cookies behind it. Turn some on, leave others off, and save. The choice applies at once.
Change your mind
A small button stays in the corner of every page, so visitors can open their choices and change them at any time.
Find the choice in your records
In ComplyZero, open Consent Records. The choice is there, with the time and exactly what was allowed. Details shows the receipt: the button used, the versions of your notice and banner the visitor saw, and when the choice expires.
If it doesn't look right
The banner doesn't show. Check the code is on the page with Check installation on the Embed tab. Some websites cache pages for a few minutes.
You don't see the banner again after choosing. That's expected: the banner remembers the choice. Use a new private window to see it as a new visitor.
