Your banner links to your privacy notice, so write it before the banner. ComplyZero fills in what it already knows, and you write the rest in your own words.

Your banner links to your privacy notice, so let's write that next. Open Privacy Notice, then select Write a notice. First, who it's for. That's visitors and customers of your website. Then the date it takes effect. Now, Fill in from Processing. It pulls in what ComplyZero already knows, your company details and your privacy contact. It only fills empty sections, so it never touches anything you've written. The rest is in your own words. If you already have a privacy policy, you can paste the matching parts in. Keep it plain: what you collect, why, who you share it with, and how long you keep it. And make sure people know how to use their rights, how to withdraw consent, and how to complain, including to the Data Protection Board. Save it, and publish. That's your notice live. The banner can link to it now.

Common questions

Do I need a separate notice for my website? The notice you publish here is the one your banner links to. You can write others later for your consent forms.

Can I change it after publishing? Yes. Publish a new version and your banner links to it. Every consent record keeps the version the visitor saw.
